Baggy Blues Cricket Club
Budapest, Hungary

Baggy Blues is an ever-expanding cricket club based in Budapest, Hungary that was formed in 2007 – at the same time as the first ever Hungarian Cricket Association. Baggy Blues participate in the Hungarian Cricket League and run club tours outside of Hungary.

Our club is welcoming and inviting to all - regardless of cricketing experience or ability - and has an exceptionally strong team spirit which extends well beyond the regular players, and well beyond the boundaries of the playing fields, to include wives, partners, and others who recognise that a Cricket Club is about much more than just what happens on the field. A regular social calendar with our very international player base ensures that a good time is had by all.

To cater for the wide variety of player experience and talent within the club, as well as the rapidly growing player base, the Baggy Blues have entered teams in each of the HCA's two leagues in 2011. Combining this with the regular training sessions (indoors in winter and outdoors when weather permits) focusing on skill developments for players of all abilities and knowledge of the game, and the recently confirmed financial support of our sponsors, the Baggy Blues look set for a very exciting future.

If you would like to be a part of all that it is to be a ’Baggy Blue’, please contact us via andrew@baggyblues.com – we look forward to welcoming you to our club!
